The tests that Paulo Dybala underwent showed that he has a problem with his left thigh muscle, with the first estimates saying he will be out for 5 weeks and fighting for the World Championship.

Paulo Dybala was injured in Roma’s home game against Lecce last Sunday and caused great concern for Jose Mourinho, who even estimated he is unlikely to return to the pitch before 2023.

This fact froze both Giallorossi and Argentina national team fans as on November 20th the first cross was made at the World Cup in Qatar and Joya was still hoping to witness the great celebration of world football.

The player underwent an MRI on Tuesday (12/10) which showed damage to the left rectus femoris and will have another MRI in a week to see how his health is developing. As for the initial estimates for the period of enforced abstinence from the pitches?

“Gazzetta dello Sport” expects the Argentine midfielder to be out of action for 5 weeks, and “Sportmediaset” estimates that the pit stop will be between 4 and 6 weeks.

What is certain is that Dybala has already started his recovery to catch up and be included in Lionel Scaloni’s squad for the upcoming World Cup, with the Albiceleste’s first game scheduled for November 22 against the United Arab Emirates.
