Richarlison misses Manchester United but not the World Cup
In his statements, Antonio Conte emphasized that Richarlison’s injury was not likely to deprive the Brazilian of his participation in the World Cup in Qatar.
Richarlison left Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-0 win over Everton injured. Initially, there were concerns about the Brazilian’s participation in the World Cup, which begins on November 20 in Qatar.
However, these fears were allayed by Antonio Conte in his statements: “No, there are no concerns. I can confirm that the player is not at risk of not participating in the World Cup. His injury is an injury but not a serious one.”
He’s got a calf problem but I think he just needs some time to recover and then he’ll be fine.” emphasized the spur trainer.
Richarlison will miss the game against Manchester United (19/10, 10:15 p.m.) at Old Trafford, but Tottenham expect to return before the start of the World Cup.
