French national team: Menian also loses the World Cup
AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli told a press conference that Mike Mengian will not be available until early 2023, meaning the French goalkeeper will miss the World Cup.
Milan coach Stefano Pioli has revealed at a press conference that Mike Mengian will not be available until early 2023, meaning the French goalkeeper will miss the World Cup in Qatar.
France’s No. 2 goalkeeper behind Hugo Lloris on Wednesday suffered a repeat of the left calf injury sustained in France’s 2-0 win over Austria on September 22.
“We are disappointed because he has done everything to get back into the team. He wanted to play as soon as possible. Tests have shown that he is cured. His injury will keep him off the pitch at least until January.” explained the pioli.
This gives him a big headache Didier Deschamps, who we remind you of, doesn’t even have an edge.
