Lionel Messi gave a lengthy interview to CONMEBOL’s YouTube channel ahead of the World Cup and, among other things, referred to his footballing future and hinted that the day of his retirement is approaching.
Lionel Messi gave a lengthy interview on CONMEBOL’s YouTube channel to journalist and former Argentina national teammate Ezequiel Lavezzi ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
The 35-year-old superstar also referred to his footballing future, among other things, and pointed out that the day of his career end is approaching.
“I love football, I love to play and I enjoy it. The only thing I’ve done in my whole life is play football and I’m sure everything I do in the future will have something to do with it will have to do, even though I don’t.” I don’t know what, I don’t think I’ll be playing for long quiet“.
