Threats against TV team from Denmark by security forces in Qatar live
Just 24 hours before the first kick-off at the World Cup in Qatar, an unthinkable incident happened live where security forces interrupted a Danish TV program and even threatened the TV crew.
The first cross of the World Cup in Qatar is approaching, but a few 24 hours before the round on the Internet, the live connection of the representatives of Danish “TV2” was interrupted by Qatari security forces, with threats even against the TV crew.
Delegated journalists from European countries are arriving in Qatar one by one and the first live broadcasts have already started. There is tight scrutiny of those arriving from the Scandinavian countries, which have repeatedly spoken out against hosting the World Cup in the Arab state.
The television crew of “TV2” from Denmark was threatened on the streets of Doha by a group of security guards who were at the place where Rasmus Tadholt was making his report and asked him to end the live connection and one of the three threatened to break the camera.

Rasmus Tadholt spoke to Norway’s NRK about the incident and said, among other things:
“I don’t think the message from Qatar’s leaders has reached all security officials. So, one could argue that some misunderstood the situation, but then again, what happened says a lot about what is to come in Qatar. This is not free.” and democratic country. Goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team Anatoly Trubin I remembered the match against France (0:4) when Sergei Rebrov released the semi-reserve squad.
“It was the coach’s choice. It is always the coach who decides whether the match will be sacrificed or not. If we talk about the challenge itself, we all understand the strength of France. I understood that there could be a lot of shots, there could be a lot of chances, and I was ready for it. When the opponent is always with the ball, constantly attacking, you are always in the game: you play in sections, you react, you constantly feel the rhythm.
For me personally, it’s even easier than when your team is attacking most of the time and you’re standing idle and suddenly there’s a moment where you have to be ready,” Trubin said.
