Benzema may continue to play in 2022 World Cup
Real Madrid and France forward Karim Benzema may play in the 2022 World Cup to be held in Qatar.
Benzema is known to be injured but is recovering at a good pace. He could return to training as early as this week. And since the French national team remains in the World Cup application, he can continue to play for them in the later stages of the playoffs. If Didier Deschamps’ team gets there.
Prior to the start of the 2022 World Cup, the 34-year-old striker was diagnosed with an injury to the quadriceps muscle of his left thigh. It was clear that he was going to miss the tournament, but Deschamps did not want to change him in the application.
It was previously reported that Karim Benzema could win the 2022 World Cup medal even if he does not play in Qatar.
