Beckham was forced to change hotels in Qatar when it became known where he was staying

David Beckham spent nearly a week at a luxury hotel in Qatar but was forced to leave after his whereabouts became widely known, according to the Daily Mail.

David Beckham has signed a legendary ten-year deal worth €173,000,000 with Qatar to be its ambassador and help promote the country’s tourism, culture and sporting ambitions, and the World Cup season has seen him participate in this big Appointment not missing.

On the contrary, the former captain of the English national team has been in Qatar for several days and even watched live the first two matches of the “Three Lions” in the final against Iran and the USA, as the “Daily Mail” publishes very interesting news about him stay.

Thus, according to a publication of this media, which bears the character “exclusive”, Beckham stayed for a week in the five-star hotel “Mandarin Oriental” in Doha, which is located in one of the most prestigious districts of the country, in the suite in which he lived, with many amenities (including a gym and private pool) and cost 23,000 euros per night.

He stayed there for a week in total, after deciding to leave the room and leave when fans found out about his whereabouts, according to the Daily Mail. It is therefore currently a mystery whether he chose another hotel in the country unknown to the worldwide location or returned to the UK.

“The staff loved having him here and called him ‘Sir David’ because he exuded respect. He wasn’t seen much by the other guests because he had an amazing suite, which is like a hotel within a hotel, which means he doesn’t want to mix with the rest of the world.

He was very nice to everyone and seemed quite decent. Sir David is one of the most iconic figures in world football and it’s an honor to have him here. It’s a shame he didn’t stay longer and I’m sure he will be back.

Who wouldn’t want to live here”a hotel official who wished to remain anonymous told the English medium.

Anatoly TRUBIN: “Rebrov decided to sacrifice him”

Goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team Anatoly Trubin I remembered the match against France (0:4) when Sergei Rebrov released the semi-reserve squad.

“It was the coach’s choice. It is always the coach who decides whether the match will be sacrificed or not. If we talk about the challenge itself, we all understand the strength of France. I understood that there could be a lot of shots, there could be a lot of chances, and I was ready for it. When the opponent is always with the ball, constantly attacking, you are always in the game: you play in sections, you react, you constantly feel the rhythm.

For me personally, it’s even easier than when your team is attacking most of the time and you’re standing idle and suddenly there’s a moment where you have to be ready,” Trubin said.

INFANTINO: “If there was no FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world”

FIFA President Gianni Infantino He commented on World Cup ticket prices, saying they reflected “absolutely insane” demand for next summer’s tournament:

“We have six to seven million tickets and in 15 days we received 150 million ticket requests. So every day we have 10 million requests. This shows how strong the World Cup is.”

FIFA has sold just 44 million tickets in almost 100 years of the World Cup. So we were able to sell tickets for the 300th anniversary of the World Cup in two weeks. Just imagine. “This is absolutely crazy.”

Infantino also noted that funds from ticket sales would be reinvested into world football, but did not specify a specific amount:

“The important thing is that the revenue from this goes back into football around the world. If it weren’t for FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world. Football exists thanks to the revenues we get from the World Cup, and we reinvest that into football around the world.”

Previously, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on FIFA to further reduce 2026 World Cup ticket prices.
