Cameroon 1-0 Brazil: Farewell victory for the Untamed Lions, Abubakar scoring and sent off

Brazil had qualified for the “16” of the 2022 World Cup. They lost 1-0 in the game against Cameroon, but that didn’t deprive them of first place in the group. In the second half, the game went at the same pace. Brazil was superior and once again had the lion’s share of the last few tries. Vincent Aboubakar was the first to threaten a nice flick, but the ball went wide.

The Seleção used their chances in the 53rd minute. Martinelli, Militao and Anthony threatened within three minutes (56-57-58) but Epassi stopped him with a subtle intervention.

From the 60th minute, the pace of the game slowed down due to the changes. Endham tried his foot from long range but Ederson controlled the ball and stopped it.

In the final of the game, the pace of the game was slow. Cameroon found the goal they had hoped for in stoppage time through Vincent Aboubakar.
