On November 29, Doha (Qatar) hosted the 3rd round match of the 2022 World Cup, where the national teams of Iran and the USA faced off. To reach the playoffs, the Americans needed only one win, and they achieved the desired result.
Christian Pulisic scored the only goal in the game for the Americans in the 38th minute (1:0). However, in the scoring section, Christian collided with the goalkeeper and injured his stomach and was removed from the game during the game break.
Pulisic was taken to the hospital for a checkup after the match. After a scan, Christian Pulisic was diagnosed with a pelvic contusion.
