Vinicius JUNIOR: “I told Richarlison he had to score in the locker room”
Brazilian striker Young Vinicius He commented on the win (2-0) against Serbia in the first round match of the World Cup Group G in Qatar.
“I’m very happy with the way we started the World Cup. I’ve been waiting for the moment to come here for 22 years. It was a lot of work, a lot of dreams. I’m very happy to be able to help the team. We have six finals ahead of us.
Double Richardlison? I am very happy for him. We work hard for this together. I talked to him in the locker room, I said we’d have some time and he had to score. Richarlison is here to help us and always ready to do so.”
On the evening of 24 November, in the last match of the 1st round of the World Cup, the Brazilian team defeated Serbia (2-0) thanks to Richarlison’s duo. Vinicius Junior provided the assist for the goal.
