Mexican politician Maria Clemente Garcia Moreno has called for Lionel Messi to be declared persona non grata and banned from entering the country for stepping on the team’s shirt during celebrations in the dressing room.

As Argentina’s celebrations emerged in the dressing room after qualifying for the quarter-finals of the World Cup, a VIDEO has emerged showing Lionel Messi stepping on a shirt that most likely belonged to the Mexico team.

This sparked a backlash when Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez went on the attack via his official Twitter account.

Aside from that, Mexican transgender politician Maria Clemente Garcia Moreno called for Paris Saint-Germain to be declared a star “persona non grata” (undesirable person) and entry into the country is denied.
