The Portuguese coach has not yet decided what to do with Ronaldo.
Portugal coach Fernando Santos does not know whether Cristiano Ronaldo will make it to the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup against Morocco.
Ronaldo did not enter the starting line-up in the 1/8 final match against Switzerland, where the national team without the leader defeated their opponent 6:1.
I have not yet determined what role Cristiano will play in the next match. I’ve known him for 19 years, we have a good relationship, everything is fine with us. Our relationship is not affected by what each of us has to do during the match. As I have said many times, Ronaldo is a very important player, he will take part in the Morocco match.”
“Any player not in the starting line-up can be used. I should note that Krishatinu is a pro,” Santos said.
The 1/4 final match between Portugal and Morocco will be played on 10 December.
