Coute’s explanation for the chains: ‘It was just an accident’
Gilles Coute was asked about the chains he forgot to take off against Poland and he said it was just a mistake.
Gilles Coutet went viral against Poland in the 2022 World Cup round of 16 when he played with chains around his neck for 42 minutes, which the regulations expressly prohibit.
