World Cup
There was no contact with the ball. Moroccan set a unique World Cup record
On Wednesday, December 14, the 2022 FIFA World Cup 1/2 final match took place between France and Morocco. The match ended 2-0 with the superiority of the French.
The 25-year-old striker of the Moroccan national team Yusuf En-Prose output in the starting array. He remained on the field for 66 minutes, then was replaced by Abderrazak Hamdall. During this time, he only managed to touch the ball three times. It is also worth noting that the Moroccan team has the advantage of possession of the ball (62% versus 38% for the French).
This is the lowest number among players who have played more than 45 minutes in a World Cup game since 1966. During this World Cup, the 25-year-old striker made six appearances and scored two goals, notably the only goal in his duel with Portugal.
