The famous chef Nusret talks to Sportish from his restaurant in Doha about the gift he will give Lionel Messi if he wins the World Cup, explains why he supports Argentina, talks about his friend Cristiano Ronaldo but also about the Greeks, his footballer to visit.

Nusret’s Restaurant in Doha is located on the West Bay of Doha, the capital of Qatar, facing the sea and the sun. The famous chef with millions of followers on his social media accounts. “Good morning! Life in Doha is beautiful, the weather is incredible, spectacular. We have visitors from all over the world. Mexicans, Brazilians, Greeks, they all come here. Greeks come to see the games.

Traffic is definitely high. Mostly Brazilians and Argentinians come to the restaurant, but there are also Mexicans, Dutch and French people. Even from Guatemala.”

But which team is Nusret backing to win the World Cup? In fact, he also reveals the gift he will give Lionel Messi and his teammates if they win the trophy as he is emotionally linked to Argentina

“In the beginning I fired with Brazil to win it, but after they left I cheered for Argentina. Because I have good memories.

When I was literally at zero, I went to Buenos Aires in 2007. I spoke neither Spanish nor English. I only had $500 in my pocket. I learned something different when it comes to meat gastronomy and catering. I cheer Argentina for everything they learned.

I spoke to the president of the Argentine FA when he came here and he promised me that if the Albiceleste became world champions he would bring the whole team here to celebrate. “I’m bringing the whole team here, Nusret,” he told me. I told him if he does it will be a pleasure for Messi and his team-mates.”
