On Saturday, December 17th, the Moroccan team lost 1:2 to the Croatian national team in the 3rd place match of the World Cup held in Qatar.
I am proud of my players, they gave their all until the last minute. We will learn from this World Cup, we will have to come back stronger. We are waiting for you at home. We are happy to be among the top four teams in the world.
We did not give up until the last seconds. We congratulate Croatia, they deserved third place, they are more experienced than us, but we will continue to work,” he said.
As you know, the Moroccan team became the first African team to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup. No African team had ever made it to the quarterfinals before.
