In this component, it’s incredibly difficult to compete with Deschamp’s men. A similar thing can be said for the France v England match (2:1), but this is already a problem for the opponents. If a team is unable to win a match in which it has scored two penalties in regular time, it may simply shrug. Although purely in terms of gameplay, Gareth Southgate’s men were hardly inferior in anything.

The strength of the French of the new generation is that the competition in any position is crazy, and the loss of even a few key players, it seems, is practically not felt.
