Isn’t it murder? Wife of journalist who died in World Cup reveals cause of death of husband
Wife of American journalist Grant Wahl, who died in the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar, Celine Gunder gave the cause of her husband’s death:
“Grant died from rupture of a slow-growing aortic aneurysm with hemopericardium that was previously undetected during examinations. The chest pressure he experienced shortly before his death may be one of the symptoms. CPR or defibrillator failed to save him. His death is not related to the coronavirus. Grant’s death is not connected to any conspiracy.”
Grant Wahl has been married to Celine Gunder since 2001. His wife is a doctor and medical journalist.
Note that Wahl died on the night of December 9-10. He collapsed in the press tribune in the quarter-final match between Netherlands and Argentina.
Following the journalist’s death, his brother stated that Grant may have been killed because of his support for LGBT people.
