Napoli fans celebrate Argentina’s World Cup victory in memory of Maradona
After Argentina won the World Cup, Napoli fans gathered at the monument in memory of Diego Maradona and celebrated in memory of Dieguito.
Lionel Messi won the World Cup with Argentina and has led the ‘Alpiceleste’ to the top of the world since 1986, when Diego Maradona led Argentina’s quest for the title.
In memory of Maradona, Napoli fans took to the streets of the Italian city and celebrated with pro-Diego slogans following Argentina’s penalty-shootout win over France.
The Neapolitans went to the monument erected in the city to the “golden child” and rhythmically chanted his name.
