Lionel Messi’s World Cup win has delighted Ronaldo, with the stadium ‘phenomenon’ idolizing the Argentine superstar and prompting his nod to Diego Armando Maradona.

Lionel Messi was so influential in Argentina’s appearance at the World Cup in Qatar and so dominant in his game that even the Brazilians took their hats off to him.

A case in point is Ronaldo, where the former “phenomenon” of the stadiums bowed to Pulga via his personal Instagram account in reference to Diego Maradona.

“This children’s football puts aside all rivalries, even the historical one between Brazil and Argentina.

I’ve seen so many Brazilians – and people from around the world – fire for Messi in that electrifying final.

A worthy conclusion for a genius who defined an era alongside winning the World Cup. I’m imagining my friend Diego’s celebration in heaven.

Here, millions of people of all nationalities, we worship you. Congratulations Messi” wrote the 46-year-old Brazilian veteran.
