President of Argentina: “This December will remain in our hearts forever”
President of Argentina Alberto Fernandez After the parade in Buenos Aires, dedicated to the victory of the national team at the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar, he addressed the national football team and the public:
“I am pleased with the way our people welcomed the Argentina national football team after winning the World Cup. Millions of Argentine men and women took to the streets in a December that will remain in our hearts forever.
Everyone was able to thank our team for the incredible pleasure they gave us. As the president, I agree with this,” Fernandez signed the video published on his Instagram account.
Note that on Sunday, December 18, the 2022 FIFA World Cup final in Qatar was played between the national teams of Argentina and France. The main time of the match ended with the score 2:2. Teams scored one goal each in extra time. As a result, the Argentines were more accurate in the penalty shootout – 4:2.
