World Cup
Lionel Messi MVP, kissing the World Cup trophy
Lionel Messi led Argentina to the World Cup and received the Most Valuable Player award. Immediately afterwards he kissed the World Cup trophy.
Messi was Argentina’s man at this World Cup. He was the “leader” that led them to their third world title in their history.
This earned him the event’s MVP award for the second time in his career (he had also won it in 2014) and broke another record by becoming the first to do so. In fact, Pulga then kissed the World Cup trophy
