Dirty stuff. How Emiliano Martinez won the penalty shootout against France
The 2022 FIFA World Cup final was played on Sunday, December 18, between the national teams of Argentina and France, in Qatar. The main time of the match ended with the score 2:2. Teams scored one goal each in extra time. As a result, the Argentines were more accurate in the penalty shootout – 4:2.
After the match went to a penalty shootout, Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez used a series of cunning and even slightly dirty tricks to steal his opponent’s trust.
In Kingsley Coman’s case, Martinez had Polish referee Szymon Marciniak check the ball’s position to distract the kicker. The result was a goalkeeper save.
Coman and Martinez push a little harder, forcing the referee to intervene politely.
Again, he has the referee check the placement of the ball and gives a coherent response.
Now Martinez knows he’s dominating the penalty area, and he can get straight to work. five/ pic.twitter.com/HNMECNeiXk

Emiliano was in no hurry to pass the next player of the French national team, and as Tchouameni approached the mark, he threw him aside. Aurelien only had to shrug and chase after the ball, which affected his composure. The result was a loss.
Emi Martinez is an elite piece of shit. Tchouameni had to throw the ball, which completely angered him, frustrated him and lost his composure. He missed his penalty. pic.twitter.com/tkL6qbRbkS

That wasn’t enough for Martinez, and he even got into a shootout with Colo Muani in which he got a yellow card from the referee.
Emi Martinez’s mind games are big, unpredictable and calculated. He is the Machiavelli of football and has encouraged others to imitate him and make moves against him.
With this exhibition on the world’s biggest stage, I wonder how this will evolve in the future. eleven/ pic.twitter.com/rZkMqXMZNE

After the match, many experts said that such actions of Emiliano Martinez were a genius on the verge of cheating, and Szymon Marciniak showed himself as an inadequately qualified referee who allowed these manipulations and pressure on the opponents.
