The Argentine government has declared Tuesday a public holiday for the national team
Argentina is at the forefront of the football world and the country’s government has announced that Tuesday (20/12) will be a public holiday so that the team’s fans can welcome the Albisteleste mission.
Lionel Scaloni and his players pulled off a great feat at the 2002 World Cup in Qatar, propelling Argentina to the top of the world for the third time in their history, and now an entire country is on its feet and ready to spread its arms in tribute to pay tribute to their own children.
This fact did not leave the government of the country untouched and so, by a presidential decree of Alberto Fernandez (President of Argentina), December 20, 2022 was declared a public holiday so that more and more people could attend the celebrations of the apotheosis of the triumphant.
As has become known, only the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) and the banks are exempt from the holiday, which is valid until 12 noon.
