Argentine football players refused From the bid to come with the World Cup to the presidential palace.
The thing is, the players and the current government of the country have “political divisions”.
The actors were categorically against being involved in any political statement from the balcony of the presidential palace. Interestingly, for the first time in Argentina’s history, the team refused to come to the presidential palace with the World Cup.
Note that on 18 December, the 2022 FIFA World Cup final was played in Qatar between the national teams of Argentina and France. The main time of the match ended with the score 2:2. Teams scored one goal each in extra time. As a result, the Argentines were more accurate in the penalty shootout – 4:2.
