The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has chosen the best national team coach of 2022. He was recognized as the coach of the Argentina national team. Lionel Scaloni.
The Argentine expert received 240 points in the voting. Didier Deschamps, coach of the French national team, took the second place, and the top three were closed by Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team.
Note that Scaloni won the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Argentina. Deschamps led the French to their second consecutive World Cup final, but failed to win the championship again.
