The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has determined the symbolic team of 2022.
The team includes the best players of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, led by Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. The owner of the ZM-2022, Karim Benzema, was also included in the team.
The symbolic team of 2022:
Goalkeeper: Thibault Courtois (Belgium, Real Madrid)
Defenders: Ashraf Hakimi (Morocco, PSG), Virgil Van Dijk (Netherlands, Liverpool), Joshko Guardiol (Croatia, RB Leipzig), Alphonso Davies (Canada, Bayern).
Midfielders: Luka Modric (Croatia, Real Madrid), Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium, Manchester City), Lionel Messi (Argentina, PSG).
Striker: Karim Benzema (France, Real Madrid), Erling Haaland (Norway, Manchester City), Kylian Mbappe (France, PSG).
