Heavy penalties for Muslera, Jimenez, Godin and Cavani for their behavior in Uruguay – Ghana
The FIFA committee responsible has fined Muslera, Jimenez, Godin and Cavani for their behavior towards the referee of the Uruguay-Ghana match.
FIFA has announced the penalties for four Uruguayan players’ behavior towards the referee of the World Cup match against Ghana.
Fernando Muslera and Jose Jimenez received the heaviest bell after both were penalized with four-game suspensions. At the same time, Godin and Cavani have no right to attend their national team’s next game.
From now on, the four people involved will have to pay a fine of up to 20,000 francs, while the Uruguayan Football Association will pay 50,000 for the behavior of its fans at the World Cup.
In addition, the next game of the national team will be played with reduced capacity.
