McAllister on Messi: ‘I have no doubt that even when he’s 40 or 45 he’ll still be the best in the world’
Speaking to Tyc Sport, Alexis McAllister addressed Lionel Messi’s future with Argentina national team, expressing his belief that Pulga can be a part of the 2026 World Cup.
Lionel Messi was crowned world champion for the first time with Argentina national team in December, winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Parisian star has not made it clear if he will be his teammate at the next World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada in 2026 Alexis McAllister he stressed that he could certainly continue.
“I hope he stays with us. Of course I’ll see Messi at the next World Cup. I have no doubt that when he is 40 or 45 he will still be the best in the world.
He’s very professional, you can see that, he’s in perfect physical condition to continue playing calmly. And then he has everything in his head, beyond the physical he has everything in his head.
We have no problem running for him.” said McAllister.
