Julian Alvarez: “This is the best thing that could ever happen to me”
Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez shared his expectations for the Champions League 1/4 final second leg match against Germany’s Bayern Munich.
“Coming out in the second half of the first game? I knew I had to be ready because in many tournaments success is at stake. Frankly, the Champions League is one of the most important.
At such tournaments in Europe, the best teams are gathered. There are so many strong players here, but this is the best thing that could happen to me: playing in the best club tournament in the world,” said Alvarez.
The match between Bayern and Manchester City will be played on Wednesday, 19 April. It starts at 22:00 Kiev time. The first match ended with the 3-0 victory of Pep Guardiola’s team.
