Bale erupts against Marca: ‘It’s disgusting, they should be ashamed’
Gareth Bale reacted to the recent Cretan welcome he received from Marca, where a journalist dubbed him a ‘parasite’ and stressed that they should be ashamed after Wales’ World Cup qualifier victory.
Wales are flirting with their second World Cup participation and Gareth Bale is mainly responsible for that.
The harshly criticized Real striker, culminating in Marca’s post, proved on Thursday evening (24/3) that he deserves more than just a place on the bench. Two goals led Wales to victory 2-1 v Austria in Cardiff (Ben Davis own goal had no effect), for the semi-finals of World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
