The developers of the football simulator FIFA 23 organized a similar tournament among women’s teams a month before the start of the World Cup, using only the game engine. It was a traditional attempt to predict the winner of the future World Cup.
The simulator has determined that several favorites, including England, Germany, France and the United States, will compete in the 2023 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. But the English team will finish the fight in the 1/4 final stage, but the Norwegian team should be in the semi-finals.
According to the FIFA 23 prediction, Germany and the USA will fight for gold. The world champions will be the Americans, who are expected to win with a score of 4:2.
It is worth remembering that FIFA game developers previously correctly predicted the winners of the last four world championships for men – the national teams of Spain, Germany, France and Argentina.
The 2023 Women’s World Cup, which will be held for the 9th time in a row, will be held in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July to 20 August. The current world champion is the USA team that won world titles in 2015 and 2019.
