“It’s impossible for Italy to go to the World Cup instead of Iran”
A Fifa Council member from Italy denied the scenario that Iran would be eliminated from the World Cup and replaced by the squadra azura.
THE Eveline Christilina member of the FIFA council, dismissed the possibility that Italy could take his place at the World Cup in Qatar in November Iran.
The Italian agent spoke to Radio Uno about an unlikely scenario being woven by the Italian media, wanting the squadra azura to replace Iran because Asians are facing a match against Lebanon due to the recent ban on women , would be excluded from FIFA.
“On Wednesday we had the FIFA Council in Qatar and today we had the Congress, with all the associations including Iran. Neither yesterday nor today did we speak of their elimination from the World Cup, nor was there any indication of what happened.” In Iran, and certainly if they are eliminated, an Asian team will take their place.
