The Business & Human Rights Resource Center has released the findings of its investigation into the human rights abuses of more than 24,000 workers who worked on Qatar construction sites for the World Cup

This event was largely determined by the working conditions of the employees. The Business & Human Rights Resources Center conducted an investigation into violations of workers’ human rights.

Its results show that 211 cases of violations were registered, affecting 24,000 workers. In fact, the particular charity is asking FIFA to intervene in Qatar to compensate employees.

The specific investigations revealed violations of non-payment of salaries and gifts, violations of employee health conditions, which resulted in deaths, injuries and hazardous working conditions. It is recalled that a previous article in the Guardian spoke of more than 6,500,000 dead workers.
