World Cup
These are the eight groups of the World Cup in Qatar
The draw did not result in a “group of death” for the 2022 World Cup. However, the duel between Spain and Germany for the fifth group and the coexistence of Portugal with Uruguay and France with Denmark in the same group stand out.
The draw for the group stage of the World Cup has been completed, with some very interesting duels emerging. The fifth group, which includes Spain’s duel with Germany, is outstanding.
At the same time, the draw resulted in the opening match of the World Cup (along with the rest of the programme, of course) in which the hosts (Qatar) meet Ecuador on 21 November. The big derby between Spain and Germany will take place on November 27th.
The World Cup premiere will take place on Monday 21 November at 12:00 at Al Bayt Stadium. The Group Stage will take place over a 12-day period, from November 21st to December 2nd.
From there, the minor and grand finals are scheduled for December 17 and 18 at Khalifa International Stadium and Lusail Stadium, respectively.
The group matches take place at 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 21:00, the knockout games at 17:00 and 21:00. The “16” stage will take place from December 3rd to 6th, the quarterfinals on the two days 9-10, the semifinals on December 13th and 14th. There is a two-day break between the knockout games.
As already mentioned, the final will take place on December 18th at 5:00 p.m.
