The first finalist of the Women’s World Cup has been announced
Defeating Sweden in a dramatic match in the Women’s World Cup semi-finals, Spain became the first finalist of the tournament held in Australia.
It is curious that all 3 goals in the match will be scored by the teams in the last 10 minutes of regular time. The Swedish team recovered in the 88th minute but immediately conceded the Spaniards’ second goal.
The Spanish national team will fight for the title for the first time in the final match, which is scheduled to be played in Sydney on 20 August. The winners of the Australia – England match will be rivals. The losers of the semi-finals will play for third place on August 19 in Brisbane.
