Hermoso calls for exemplary action against Rubiales
Hermoso, through her agency, is calling for exemplary action against Rubiales for the kissing scene during the awards ceremony after the Women’s World Cup final.
The incident in the women’s World Cup final, in which Rubiales kissed Hermoso on the mouth, caused an uproar.
Following the unacceptable move by the President of the Spanish Football Federation, the Spanish footballer is demanding exemplary action against Rubiales through her agency, she explained “The The fact that the boss grabs his employee by the head and kisses her on the mouth simply cannot be tolerated. The excuses that followed were what the Prime Minister called “inadequate”.
“My association FUTPRO, in coordination with my agency TMJ, is taking care of defending my interests and has been involved as my interlocutor in this matter.
We are committed to ensuring that acts like the ones we have seen never go unpunished, that sanctions are imposed and that exemplary measures are put in place to protect women footballers from actions we deem unacceptable
FUTPRO will meet Spain’s second deputy captain Yolanda Diaz next Monday to ensure Rubiales’ actions are “properly sanctioned”.
