Australia is bidding to host the 2034 World Cup
Australia’s intention to host the 2034 World Cup was expressed by Football Federation Australia CEO James Johnson.
Although Saudi Arabia made an official request to host the 2034 World Cup just yesterday, as the country’s football association officially announced, the plans of the corresponding Australian association do not change and are exploring the possibility that the Oceanian country could organize the World Cup Club Cup in 2029 , either the World Cup 2034.
THE Australiawho moved from Oceania to the Asian Confederation in 2006, announced his intention to compete for the 2034 tournament through the official words of James Johnson: “We are delighted that, following the hugely successful FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023, the Asia and Oceania football family will once again have the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to welcome and host the world to be best FIFA tournaments“.
