An unlikely candidate has emerged to host the 2030 World Cup final
Morocco has become one of the candidates to host the final match of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
It was previously reported that the main candidate to host the decisive match of the tournament is Real Madrid’s home ground, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Now it looks like he has a rival.
As you know, the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be held in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. However, the opening matches of the tournament will be held in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. This will take place in honor of the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup in history held in South America.
Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, Agadir, Marrakesh and Fez are the cities where Morocco is considering hosting the 2030 World Cup matches. However, the final decision regarding the arenas has not been made yet.
