World Cup
A PHOTO. Players Dynamo and Dovbik joined the national team of Ukraine
On May 5, Dynamo players and Dnipro-1 forward Artem Dovbik joined the Ukrainian national team, which is working on the basis of the Slovenian national team and preparing for the match against Scotland in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Ten Dynamo players from Dnipro and Dovbik, who participated in Kiev’s charity matches, arrived at the Elegance Hotel just in time for dinner and met warmly with their teammates who had been working in Slovenia for four days. After a warm-up and run, the team split into two groups: Three Dynamo players who played 45 minutes yesterday – Denis Garmash, Alexander Sirota and Denis Popov – joined the nine players running for the fifth day (Aleksey Gutsulyak did not take lessons due to knee pain joining today’s knee).
The rest of the Dynamo players had the opportunity to simply watch what was happening on the field, completing the recovery exercises.
The good news is that Mikhail Mudrik started running. Examination showed no serious damage to the adductor muscle. The team will need a few more days under the supervision of their doctors for Mikhail to fully recover and return to game training.
Tomorrow, the blue-yellows will have their first full-fledged training session with almost all the players playing in Ukrainian clubs.
