The Ukrainian national team continues training camps in Slovenia. On the third day, the Brdo region delights its guests with its pleasant sunny weather. The national park is spread over 500 hectares, 75 of which are open to the public.

Enjoying the local flora and not yet feeling the richness of the local fauna, Ukrainians continued to work intensively in the dual training format. Morning class – traditionally in the gym: this time physical education and rehabilitation instructor Vyacheslav Ruzhentsev He was tasked with performing a series of physical exercises designed to transform strength into speed. In other words, the guys worked on the explosiveness of their efforts. After that – a 15-minute jog around the training grounds and back to the hotel.

In the evening hours, work continued on the football field. The coaching staff was tasked with passing small targets with final blows, making offensive and counter-attack moves, and the implementation of what was won in the game series. The last component always results in increased competition between players as teams play by score. This time it was a fierce battle – 3:3, but one of the teams did not hesitate to watch a video of a goal that was canceled in the last seconds, allegedly due to offside. But the referee is also the head coach. Alexander PetrakovHe was firm in his decision. Penalty shootouts did not announce the winner, even after shooting all 10 players in training, including the goalkeepers. As a result, the training game ended in peace and joy for all its participants, as no one lost.

In the evening, the players watched the semi-finals. Champions LeagueThe clubs of Ukrainians Andrei Lunin and Alexander Zinchenko met – Spanish Real and English Manchester City, respectively. The Ukrainian national team is waiting for the expectation of strengthening from the players playing abroad. Dnipro-1 striker Artem Dovbik, who took part in a charity match against 10 Dynamo Kyiv players and Switzerland’s Basel during daylight hours on 5 May, will join the blue-yellow camp.

And on May 6, the national team will hold a press day at the training center of the Slovenian Football Union.
