Vitaliy BUYALSKY: “Our team never did a training camp in the mountains”
Midfielder of Kyiv “Dynamo” and the national team of Ukraine Vitaly Buyalsky He shared his impressions of the training process in Slovenia, where the national team is currently training.
“I believe that the competition for a place in the squad will increase in the next training session. Each of us dreams of getting into the main team and going to Scotland to reach the World Cup. That’s why every player will give their best and then our head coach will be determined.
I will say here that the conditions we have for training are simply magnificent. Our national team has never done a training camp in the mountains. Only at the club I had similar conditions in Austria. It’s good to wake up, it’s good to work, fresh air, great walks. There are all the conditions to enter the world championship.
These are difficult times and I have all my relatives in Ukraine, only my wife and children abroad. I’m very worried for them, if any explosion or arrival, I wake up and get the news immediately. It is getting more and more scary that it will not end with each passing day.
Victory will definitely be ours, and everything will be Ukraine. And we will do everything we can on the football field. It will be difficult to be unlucky, but let’s hope for success and God help us,” said Vitaly Buyalsky.
The 2022 World Cup qualifying play-off match between Scotland and Ukraine will be played at Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow on 1 June.
