The national team of Ukraine introduced a new uniform for test matches

On May 11, the national team of Ukraine in Germany will play a friendly match with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

On the eve of the match, the national team presented a special jersey in which they will play these matches.

UAF joined the fundraising platform to support Ukraine – United 24. According to UAF President Andriy Pavelko, players will come out with special limited edition t-shirts. After the matches, the form will be put up for auction.

The form was presented to children from Kyiv, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Popasna and other cities.

“The UAF and the national team support the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky – U24 – a fundraising platform that unites the entire civilized world around the restoration of Ukraine. And as part of this support, Ukraine’s main team will enter the test matches in special limited edition T-shirts in preparation for the 2022 World Cup playoffs. And the funds raised for these fights and the sale of T-shirts will go to the United24 program. The main components of the new uniform design are the Unified inscription for Ukraine and the strip, together with the graphics of the U24 platform. He also suggested adding two original elements to the form’s design. The first is a unique image of a map of Ukraine with borders in the form of flags of countries that support us in the war against the Russian invaders. This expresses our respect and gratitude to foreign partners for their assistance. The second element is the number of players shown as the names of the Ukrainian settlements,” he said.

The match “Borussia” Mönchengladbach – Ukraine national team will kick off at 21:45 Kyiv time.
