- Third place: $29 million
- 4th place: $27 million
- 5th and 8th places: $19 million
- 9th and 16th places: $15 million
- 17-32: $11 million
- 33rd and 48th places: $9 million
In addition, each team that manages to participate in the World Cup will be given 1.5 million dollars for preparation costs. This means that all participating member associations are guaranteed at least $10.5 million for their participation in next year’s tournament.
“The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be a groundbreaking event in terms of its financial contribution to the global football community,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The Ukraine national team will face Sweden in the semi-finals of the qualifying play-offs, which will be played on March 26, 2026. The winner of this match will face the strongest of the Poland-Albania duo.
