British Prime Minister admits he collected money for tickets
Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer He called on FIFA to further reduce 2026 World Cup ticket prices.
Previously, the International Football Federation (FIFA) had introduced a new 45-pound ticket category for the World Cup matches to be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico next summer, following fans’ dissatisfaction with the high prices.
“I welcome FIFA’s announcement of partial reductions in ticket prices for fans.
But as someone who has been saving up for England tickets, I am calling on FIFA to do more to make tickets more affordable and keep the World Cup connected to the real fans who make the game special,” Starmer wrote.
