Goal updated the list of favorites for the 2026 World Cup: There are surprises
football portal Aim The ranking of the main favorites for the 2026 World Cup has been updated, among the 42 teams currently guaranteed to qualify for the tournament.
The updated candidate list was revealed following the group stage draw on Friday, December 5. Six more participants in the world championship will be determined according to the results of the play-offs, scheduled for the end of March 2026.
According to Goal, the top 10 competitors who will achieve victory in the 2026 World Cup are:
- Spain
- Argentina
- England
- Portugal
- France
- Germany
- Holland
- Switzerland
- Norway
- Morocco
The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in three countries: the USA, Canada and Mexico. For the first time in the tournament, 48 national teams will be divided into 12 groups of four teams each.
