Victor SKRYPNYK: “Athletes must be first on their front”
Viktor Skrypnyk, head coach of Zorya Luhansk, spoke about the motivations of the players of the Ukrainian national team during the war in our country.
“It seems to me that each of us, people with a Ukrainian passport, worries with all our hearts and souls about the situation we are all in. Anyone who does something anywhere in the world shows: “I’m Ukrainian.” This is a good opportunity for our guys to make everyone proud of our team and our military. This will be the main. We don’t just want to go out and try to beat the Scots, we have to.
The player first sits on his head and then enters the field. Everyone will try to give something 100 percent to win. Then it will be easier. We have great examples, Mariupol and cities that are currently under fire from these morons. Skrypnyk said, “We, the athletes, must also be first on our front so that our country can be proud of us.”
