Dovbik may lose his place in the starting 11 of the Ukrainian national team ahead of the World Cup
Former Dynamo Kyiv football player Oleg Salenko I am sure that if Italian Roma forward Artem Dovbik cannot improve his form in the near future, he will lose his place in the starting 11 of the Ukrainian national team.
– In March, the Ukrainian national team will play the 2026 World Cup play-off qualifying match against Sweden. Could the striker’s situation weaken the team’s potential?
– There are many forwards in the national team who can play in the starting lineup. The coach has a choice. The match will be played in Valencia. If Vladislav Vanat continues to gain momentum, he will be on the field from the first minutes, as Spain is no longer a foreign country for him.
If Dovbik doesn’t move anywhere, he will continue to be content to stay on shift. Salenko said that Sergei Rebrov will evaluate the striker for a possible call-up to the national team, but not as a main player.
