Jozsef SABO: “A draw with Borussia would have been fair”
Famous ex-manager Jozsef Szabo He commented on the victory of the Ukrainian team over Borussia M (2:1).
“I was hoping to see football like this and I found it cute. It was a game that was respected by both teams in order not to injure the opponent – jointless. It was an easy practice match where the opponents let each other play. The holiday took place and I think the football was interesting for the audience. Everyone supporting Ukraine and it was especially nice when the Germans shouted the name of our country.
The problem was on the offensive. I didn’t like Besedin’s play. Once it literally disappeared from the starting whistle. All the other players acted well, passed the ball, participated in the selection, but Besedin did not appear. After all, a lot is expected of him. In the second half, Petrakov had to attack Garmash.
As for the game, I think a draw would be fairer. The Borussia goalkeeper failed to see Pikhalenok’s shot and eventually conceded the decisive goal. But this victory is very important psychologically for Ukrainians. Still, I’m sure Petrakov will do a pretty drastic analysis of the game and point out the faults of not just Marijuana, but his other wards as well,” Sabo said.
