Evgeniy LEVCHENKO: “Our team does not need concessions”
Evgeny Levchenko, former player of the Ukraine national team, shared his expectations for the 2022 World Cup play-off match against Scotland (June 1):
The actors of Shakhtar and Dynamo are already together. Although there was a hitch with the dynamo, I think it was not necessary at the time. It’s the game against Scotland and everyone understands that, most importantly. Andriy Yarmolenko talked about this recently, I’m sure our team does not need concessions. I believe all our men understand the price of the game in Glasgow. We have to go out and fight for Ukraine.
The Scots are in a different psychological state. Our men can win thanks to the power of the spirit. The wards of Alexander Petrakov will unite to win a ticket to the World Cup. Here even the coaches do not need to deceive anything – everyone already understands everything. We all understand that football is an important component in the life of our society. Times are tough, but Ukrainians need to be content.”
